What happens if I run out of time / Can I add time to finish my wash?

Typically it should only take you about 15 minutes to wash even very large breeds. Most washes are set to 20 minutes, so you should have plenty of time to finish washing your dog.  There is not a way to add more minutes, should you run out of time. If you need more time, you will need to re-swipe your credit card for an additional session.

I ran out of time before I cleaned the unit?

No problem, we understand that sometimes it takes a few minutes longer to finish up and there isn’t always time to disinfect after your dog is clean. You don’t need to pay again just to clean the unit, but, thank you for your concern for others.

Do I need to bring my own supplies?

No, everything you need is provided. We offer Vet Approved Shampoos and conditioner as well as a flea and tick treatment if you need/want that for your pet. There is also a blower (sort of like a hair dryer, but, it doesn’t blow hot, to protect the dog’s skin); there is also a vacuum that you can use to remove excess water and loose hair off of your dog.

Can I bring my own shampoo?

You don’t need to bring anything, but if you prefer to use your own supplies you are more than welcome to bring them. Just don’t forget your supplies when you leave. We now have an extensive collection of collars, leashes, and grooming supplies.

Are there extra costs for extra treatments or the blower or vacuum?

No, all treatments and tools (blower and vac) are included in the price.

What does the disinfectant do?

The disinfectant is NOT for the dog, it is for the unit. We ask that you spray down the tub (or floor if you washed on the floor) after your dog is clean so the unit is clean and fresh for the next customer.

The Shampoo (or other treatment) doesn’t seem to be working?

The treatments are activated as you rub them into your dog’s coat. If you have tried to work the treatment in to your dog’s coat and it still isn’t “sudsing”, contact the customer support number located on the unit (usually on the other door than the one you came in).

Why is the door locked?

Most dog wash unit doors are controlled by the payment system. Once a successful payment goes through, the door will unlock (this can take 10-20 seconds). If the unit doesn’t have an external credit card reader, the unit is likely closed for business at the current time. If your payment looks like it went through, and the door did not open, contact customer support by calling the number that is generally located on the other door (not the door where you enter the unit).

What happens if I run out of time and the door locks me inside the unit?

Not to worry, there is a button beside the door marked “Press to exit”. Press and hold that button while you push to open the door. Please note that the door will immediately lock when you stop pressing the button. If the unit your in does not have a button, simply press the door bar (break bar) which will release the lock mechanism and allow you to exit.
